After losing three seniors to graduation and with five seniors on the 2015 roster, Millersville volleyball needed to restock its roster with a quality recruiting class. To do that Coach Brian Smith signed six incoming freshmen who will begin their Marauder careers this fall.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released the list of 2014-2015 PSAC Scholar-Athletes, and 105 Millersville University student-athletes received the honor.

Millersville women's volleyball came out swinging Friday winning its first two matches of the Marauder Clash. The Marauders did so in dominant fashion without dropping a single set first against Felician College (25-18, 25-23, 25-18) in the afternoon tilt, and later against Virginia Union (25-13, 25-15, 25-18).

Millersville stopped a three-match skid with a four-set win over Slippery Rock (25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21) before dropping their second match of Saturday's PSAC Crossover to Gannon, 3-1 (17-25, 25-17, 19-25, 19-25). Senior Brooklyn Smith recorded 47 digs on the day, bringing her career dig total to 2,024 which moved her past Jennie Rohrbaugh's all-time career mark of 1,944.

The Millersville women's volleyball team started Saturday in the same fashion it finished Friday night, losing to Lock Haven, 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-14), but the Marauders finished strong by sweeping Alderson-Broaddus (25-19, 25-19, 25-15) in their second match of the day.
